Residents of San Antonio de La Zubia celebrated spring with a traditional festival in which more than 200 kg of poor potatoes were distributed with eggs and a delicious meal.
The day started with a Zumba demonstration by the Rhythms Latin Association. This association teaches the discipline in the San Antonio Neighborhood Association. Many women from this association participated.

“In addition to that, we also held a poem reading, by students of Al-Zawiya School and our neighbor, poet Manuel Molina Benitez,” said Rebeca Sanchez (Councilor for Social Welfare, La Zubia City Council), who attended the meeting along with a large part of government officials.

Puri Lopez, La Zubia’s mayor, said that the Neighborhood Association of San Antonio was “a true engine for the municipality and organizes activities throughout the calendar such as this spring festival in which we have been fortunate to enjoy an unbeatable atmosphere”.
The day featured a photo exhibition that showcased photographs from the various Zubian activities organized over the past months.
