Last night, the Huetor Vega Music Band performed a special concert to welcome summer. It was in a unique place for this kind of training: at the Dona Juana restaurant. Another example of the versatility of Hueteno Oscar Musso’s group.
Diners could enjoy a cool, summery selection on the terrace under the banner of “Una noche con la Banda”. Ruth Obermayer’s female voice was a delight to the ears. The Band’s live packaging made it sound overwhelming.
DIEGO LIGHT
From Gershwin’s silky Summertime’ to an array of foolproof Boleros. The sound of Nat King Cole and Machin in Those Green Eyes’. Agustin Lara, in ‘Only Once’. What about the powerful (and intoxicating!) force of Besame mucho’ and ‘Amado Mio’? There were already many couples dancing by then. This was all without sacrificing the simple download to shake the skull via a mambo such as ‘Hey, how it goes’, which is flavored with Santana and Tito Puente. A ‘Tequila” that incited frenzy. The luxury of Band has Huetor Vega.
