Pedro Luis Rodriguez, the mayor of Andujar, and Eduardo Criado, the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of the city, signed new cooperation agreements to support and promote actions in the favor of the commercial sector and the business community.

This collaboration between the City Council of Andujar (Chamber of Commerce) is created to coordinate and manage activities, programs, and actions in the area of economic development in the city. A co-finance agreement was also signed to finance economic aid that promotes the employability and participation of young people in the framework of PICE (Training Plan for Comprehensive Qualification and Employment Plan).

These agreements will allow it to implement various strategies in training, entrepreneurship and innovation, job creation, advice or logistical support for commercial revitalization events.

President of the chamber entity expressed satisfaction with the accomplishments, “Thanks to both parties with local groups and associations, since the union makes executing all projects in favor the development of commerce, and the industry of Andujar easier”.

The councilor, for his part, highlighted the “good harmony and relationship between council and Chamber when it comes to materializing propositions to help the competiveness of merchants and businessmen, putting at the disposal all the resources, tools, and necessary to their growth.”

Rodriguez said that Rodriguez will continue to support the chamber entity in this regard. Because that support goes directly to the municipality’s economy, and precisely because of this reason, we plan to intensify this collaboration to recover Andujar’s relevance as the heart-commercial of the region, and of course as the benchmark for the province>>.
