The International Music and Dance Festival ‘Ciudad de Ubeda ‘International Music and Dance Festival’ proposed a tour through the sounds that unify Spain and Latin America. This journey traveled across the ocean to unite people and culture. Calio Alonso, on piano, and Alexis Morales, on trumpet, performed a variety program as part of the “Music and Heritage” cycle that runs through various monumental spaces in the town. This included the work “Seven Popularly Inspired Costa Rican Songs”, which is a mirror of Manuel de Falla’s “Seven Popular Spanish Songs” by Marvin Camacho, an award-winning composer. He was also present at the Palacio anguis Medinilla courtyard and interacted to introduce the concert.
