130 soldiers from 3rd Division Sustainment Brigade’s 87th Division Sustainment Support Battalion lined up in a terminal at Hunter Airfield, Savannah. They departed under grey skies and rain.

These soldiers were added to the 3,800 soldiers of the Army’s 3rd Infantry Division, who deployed from Fort Stewart in the past weeks, said Lt. Col. Lindsey Elder.

The Pentagon ordered approximately 12,000 service members from U.S. bases to Europe. A few thousand more are already stationed overseas shifting to European countries.
