All the students in a 0.class on Lærkeskolen in Egedal Municipality have been sent home, after one of the students in the class have tested positive for the coronavirus.

Wednesday was the school to know that one of the students had been tested positive for the coronavirus.

’the Student has not been in the school with symptoms. The symptoms occurred on Saturday, the student was tested on Monday, and have got the test result today’, writes the municipality.

Egedal Municipality contacted the then Danish Agency for Patient safety, which has recommended to the entire class as well as four staff members who have been in contact with students, for safety’s sake had to be sent home.

even Though the student has not been in school with symptoms, has the agency assessed that, with so small children can not assess who is the pupil’s nearest contacts. Therefore, one has as a precaution decided to send the entire class including the teachers home.

Students should be at home until Monday, informs Egedal Municipality to the Extra Blade.

the Parents have been told that they can choose to let their children test. They will not have it, will the children be at home in a minimum of seven days, in an email to Ekstra Bladet.

the School has contacted all the parents of the children in the class by telephone, while all the other parents of children at the school got the message via the Aula.
