Of Sarreguemines in Strasbourg, the Route 52 (V52) is pacing up and down the beautiful valley of the river Saar, crosses Alsace hunchback and the regional natural park of Lorraine. The route follows the river channels, but its 170 Km are not monotonous. They are full of small stories. The canal of the Sarre, was formerly used to transport the coal. The canal of the Marne to the Rhine river was dug at the same time as the railway line Paris-Strasbourg.
