Staden The parents of the children from the local school have their stroke at home removed. Mayor Francesco Vanderjeugd (Open Vld) pulls his decision to the local school from 1 september to close. Vanderjeugd’s insight came after discussions with the parents. The school remains open until 2022.
The mayor got the last week a lot of anxious parents over the floor. “One of the recurring arguments was about the timing of the closure,” says Vanderjeugd. “After consultations we have decided that concerns to take to heart. We remain with our decision to the local school in Staden to close and will continue to go to the limit for the development of a new school in the Bruggestraat. But we choose for a uitdoofscenario without new inflow. The school will therefore remain open until 2022.”

This means that the toddlers and preschoolers their kleuterjaren can be switched on and that the children who are now in the first grade sit up to and including the fourth grade.
