‘Now we’re really, really bored of it.’
so says Kim Walls mother, Ingrid Wall, after a part of her daughter’s memorial has disappeared.
On Facebook, she has shared a picture of the memorial, together with a text, in which she talks about the vandalism.
‘Someone has stolen the stone with Kim’s name from stenhjertet by the beach at the side of the Karinbadet. A green glashjerte is also disappeared,’ writes Ingrid Wall in the advertisement.
the Memorial is designed as a heart of white stone, which is located directly on the beach.
Because of Ingrid Wall, visited the memorial Wednesday at 17, was the heart and navnestenen still there, but it is gone now.
‘For us – and many others – is the heart an important place to remember Kim. Navnestenen and glashjertet has been put there by people who want that Kim will be remembered for the person she was,’ writes the mother.
She calls for the offender to hand navnestenen and glashjertet back to where it belongs.
– Put the note back, if you took the stones with you. They belong here, no other places. If you have seen something, please let us know.
A number of Facebook users are sending loving thoughts to the family after the vandalism.
‘Think of you and Kim. Hope that the stones will come back,’ writes Niklas.
‘My and Annmaris thoughts go out to you and to Kim. So sad that some people take the freedom to take something as emotionally valuable, not their. We hope that the conscience wakes, and the stones get back where they belong,’ writes Hannah.
the Other sends a rallying cry against the perpetrator.
‘You could never in his wildest imagination believe that ANYONE should be able to do such a thing. This is WORSE than gravskænderi,’ scolds Barbro out, while other Facebook users just send angry emojier.
the Extra Leaf has contacted Ingrid Wall. She has not returned at our request.
