It is popular with true crime now, people simply do not get enough of the true mordhistorier – the more complicated the better. But the fascination is hardly new. Musikantikvarierna in folktrion Triakel has done a thorough arkivgräv and found nine pieces of folk songs about murder and other horrible in the north of Sweden, as you may surmise filled the same function as the current pods. In the cd booklet you also know the backstory.
note that Triakel found his form a long time ago and now most engaged in to refine the details. The jämtland storspelsmannen Kjell-Erik Eriksson and tramporgelmästaren Janne Strömstedt is incredibly tight, and work as a team and singer Emma Härdelin is equally challenging factual as always. She is a fantastic storyteller and Triakel is a very nice small orchestra.
