Conscious “Nazification” of a quadruped, or a lack of General education? Anyway, this dog’s name-choice of a Sheriff of Trouble, ridicule, and renaming.
A Sheriff in the US state of Florida has shown in the choice of the Name for a new police dog bit of subtlety. Because the civil servant called his dog, “Rommel”, he triggered a small storm. After complaints because of the similarity of names with the Wehrmacht General Erwin Rommel, the ten-week-old hunting dog was renamed short-hand, as the channel Fox News on Sunday evening (local time) reported.
With the words, “Welcome aboard, Rommel!”, had presented to the Sheriff’s office, the new arrival at the end of last week, proud. A number of Twitter Followers is not found, the not good. “Congratulations, you have identified the poor dog Nazi,” wrote one. The Sheriff’s office replied, “Rommel” was named by dog after a pet from the children’s times. You have renamed the dog now, but in a “Scout”.
