The collective labor dispute with the Berlin transport companies (BVG) is completed. The Municipal employers Association and the trade Union Verdi have agreed on a compromise that was shared by both sides early Friday morning.
The agreement provides that the employees, retroactive to 1. January, 8 percent more money, but at least 350 euros per month. Also the Christmas bonus will be increased by 200 euros. Improvements reported also in the case of allowances and of the pay scale of many activities.
“This degree is unique,” said BVG personnel chief Dirk Schulte. The agreement is worthy of “the exemplary commitment of our employees to the mobility in our city” and be a positive message to future Applicants.
Verdi negotiator Jeremy Arndt said the agreement consider the Deal from all professional groups. “The conclusion, because of the new collective bargaining agreement makes a significant step in a nationwide comparison, to the front,” he said.
The Union had done most recently with the Strikes pressure in a wage dispute.
