Kortrijk very young is Maxim Vantrois (19). But soon he is as a dj AMAXXY at the Cannes film festival. “A unique opportunity for the stars to rotate and networks. My dream? As a dj continue to break through in the luxesector, in countries such as Dubai and on the caribbean island of Saint Barthélemy in the Caribbean. I love parties that are big and off, also the fact that I’m a perfectionist.”
Maxim Vantrois was 12 years old when he made his first console bought. Four years later he played in the legendary nightclub La Rocca in Lier. And just when he reached the age of majority was, he showed all his can in the Vooruit arts centre in Ghent, discotheque Versuz in Hasselt and as a guest dj on radio station MNM. But how do you get in Cannes? “We are of Nieuwpoort, while my parents Dirk Vantrois and Angélique made by carrette a B&B in The Nuts, near Veurne. A year and a half ago they made their dream come true by moving to Cotignac in the Provence in the South of France, where they B&B Siëste and Provence running”, says Maxim. He went to Cannes to DJ Network, a prestigious musical education on a year-to-follow. “It is one of the only schools in Europe that recognized dj-diplomas awards. So I was allowed on stage to the VRT-radiospotcel, that commercials for stations such as MNM and Studio Brussel. I got the chance to be with StuBru-dj Faisal to work.”
