Kubican F1 career was supposed to have ended in February 2011, when he was seriously injured in the Ronde Di Andorra rally. Polish hurt in the accident, hands and feet. Hand injury interferes with a man driving still slightly.
Against all probability Kubica returned, however, this season with Williams at the wheel. The return is considered to be sensational stunt, but not everyone is excited about the 34-year-old veteran’s return.
I Think it’s terrible. It is not good for the species. I said it last year, and I don’t change my mind. Formula one should be racing to the top of the mountain, leading the series, a former top driver, Jacques Villeneuve blurted out Kubican return.
Kubican critics were given more ammunition as soon as the season opening race in Australia, where the Polish was clearly a whole bunch of slow drivers. Many feel he will run completely in the wrong series.
– It is not good for the species, if someone with disabilities can be involved. At least not for Formula one, perhaps in another class. Formula one should be a hard, difficult and almost unattainable the series. Kubican return does not give the right message from the series, Villeneuve continued yelling.
