On 31. January was the 27-year-old scorer of the 1. FC Union when the big game against Cologne on the midfoot is injured. An accurate diagnosis of the club is not released, the injury continued to stack but a long time out of action. Only last week, he again was part of the team training, since it increases the workload slowly. On Tuesday, the last public session prior to the home game on Saturday against SC Paderborn, saw his movement sequences at various shooting exercises already pretty round. In the training game, he completed the first half before he was allowed in advance by the court.

“He makes a decent impression,” says left-back Ken Reichel. “I’m confident that he can help us in the last few Games.” Paderborn comes with almost certainly still too early Stack but progress is clearly visible. After his Achilles tendon injury, which stopped him from March to September, 2018, returned to the striker earlier than expected and scored on his Comeback via the Bicycle kick “goal of the month”. How quickly he came after such a serious injury and the long break again in a good shape, was amazing – and in Union with all hope that he returns soon at a similar rate in the game.
