Since 2010, Rob Gronkowski has been one of Tom Bradys fixed weapons with the New England Patriots.

But now makkerskabet past. Gronkowski writes on Instagram, that he end his career with immediate effect.

It happens, barely two months after he won the Super Bowl for the third time with the team from the state of Massachusetts.

In the battle, as the Patriots won 13-3, made sure Gronkowski, among other things, to bring the Patriots into position for the only touchdown when he caught a deep throw from the legendary quarterback Brady.

the 29-year-old Gronkowski has won three Super Bowls with the Patriots, who plucked him from the University of Arizona nine years ago.

He has been selected to the Pro Bowl, the NFL’s All-Star game five times, although he has been badly plagued by injuries through his career.

On Instagram, writes Rob Gronkowski, that the decision to stop his career, is one of the hardest he’s ever taken.

– My life experiences over the last nine years have been amazing both on and off the field.

– Thanks to all for accepting me as I am, and the dedication I have put into my work, to be able to be the best player I could be. But now it is time to move forward and do it with a big smile.

Gronkowski grateful at the same time, the whole of the New England Patriots and all their fans for the support and the opportunity to be allowed to be a part of “this organization of excellence”.

– It has truly been an honor to play for such a big and established organisation and be allowed to come in and continue to contribute to its success, he writes.

The 29-year old player ending of the writing, how much he is going to miss the team.

Rob Gronkowski ends his career as the holder of a number of records in the NFL. He is, among other things, the tight end, who has scored the most touchdowns in an NFL season, as he in the 2011 season, made 18 straight wins in the base game.
