It will be “extremely difficult” for Europe to take home the 800 prisoners of the ICE warriors from Syria, as the us president, Donald Trump, has required.

It says German foreign minister, Heiko Maas, late Sunday evening for the German tv-station ARD. It writes the news agency dpa.

Trump sent on Saturday evening a series of tweets, where he asked Europe to download about 800 IS fighters home from Syria in order to bring them to justice.

Alternatively, the UNITED states will be forced to release them, and so will the ICE-the men of war could spread to Europe freely, it sounded far from the president.

But it will only be possible to bring the ICE warriors, “when it is certain that these people will immediately be brought before a judge and remanded in custody”, says Heiko Maas.

And it will require a thorough investigation and information, which can not be guaranteed, assesses the Maas.

– So long as it is the case, I think that it would be extremely difficult to implement, he says of a possible repatriation of the ICE-warriors.

Persons with a German citizenship has the right to return to Germany, he says. But in Syria there is at present no way to check people’s claims of citizenship.

– Therefore we will, in cooperation with the French and the british decide what to do, says the German foreign minister.

in Denmark, Too, has Trumps demands to the European aroused skepticism.

the Social democrats, the Danish people’s Party and the Left has on Sunday stated that it is absolutely excluded that Denmark may download the IS-fighters home from Syria.

According to Amnesty International, you can’t just refuse to let them come back to Denmark, if there is talk about Danish citizens.

In Syria has amerikanskstøttede forces a last-ditch offensive against the remnants of the warriors from the ICE.

Trump has announced that he will pull the UNITED states out of Syria, “when the caliphate (IS, red.) are 100 percent defeated”.
