Lyon announced on Wednesday the transfer without compensation of its attacking midfielder Jeff Reine-Adelaïde to RWD Molenbeek, a club like OL in the Eagle football galaxy promoted in the Belgian 1st division and trained by former Lyonnais Claudio Caçapa.

A 40% incentive on a future sale is provided for in the agreement. The player arrived in 2019 from Angers for a transfer of 25 million euros and a five-year contract. But the latter has never been able to win in Lyon in 48 meetings in all competitions in which he has participated.

In particular, he suffered a serious injury to each of his two knees, one when he was at Olympique Lyonnais at the end of 2019, and another a year later when he was loaned to Nice. For the second half of last season, he was again loaned to Troyes without being able to revive.

Earlier in the day on Wednesday, OL had already announced the transfer without compensation also of a young midfielder from the training center and the B team, Pathé Mboup, still in Molenbeek with a 50% incentive on the possible capital gain on a subsequent sale.
