Fringed jacket, cowboy boots, and a rock’n’roll side that time has not altered. The singer Hugues Aufray remarried this Saturday at the age of 94 with his partner Murielle Mégevande. The couple said yes to the Saint-Virgo church in Marly-le-Roi, reports Paris Match.
Many stars were present to celebrate the union of the newlyweds. Among them, the singer Dave, the television presenter Jean-Luc Reichmann accompanied by his wife and David Séchan, the brother of the singer Renaud. In addition to family and friends, a few paparazzi were waiting at the bottom of the steps of the church to immortalize the event.
The ceremony began with the Aria Suite No. 3 by Johann Sebastian Bach. The two spouses sat facing the altar, accompanied by an eclectic playlist, made up of hits by Bob Dylan, Sting, or Ray Charles, all sung by Hugues Aufray himself. The couple said yes before God (after getting married at the town hall in the morning) at the end of the afternoon before going to dinner in Louveciennes, in the Yvelines.
