The Russia-investigation by special investigator Robert Mueller, according to the President of the US attorney General Matthew Whitaker shortly before the completion. “The Mueller investigation is about to be completed,” said Whitaker on Monday.

Mueller is investigating the alleged Russian interference in the election campaign of 2016, in favour of the today’s US President, Donald Trump, and possible collusion between the Trump Team and Moscow. He had been taught to “complete the investigation” and expect from Mueller in the final report, said Whitaker on Monday to journalists.

Whitaker follows Trumps line

The former FBI chief Robert Mueller investigated since may of 2017, the influence of Russia on the U.S. presidential election of 2016 and a possible involvement of the electoral camp of Donald Trump. Six former employees Trumps are already accused of or sentenced for. Last charges against the longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone was collected.

Russia has any influence on the election campaign in favour of the ultimately victorious Republican candidate Donald Trump denied. Trump has criticized the investigation, is sharply and as a “witch-hunt”. The US President strongly denies any collusion with Russia. Even Whitaker had expressed in the past highly critical of the investigation of former FBI chief Mueller.
