First Aid Kit is two different bands. This one is very good, the other is pretty boring. One band is First Aid Kit’s original incarnation: two beautiful voices that sound perfect together, picking folkgitarr and obvious melodies. This music could be made in 1933, in 1970 or 2007, it is utterly timeless, it shoots out over the lands and heavens, over the mountains and forests, it binds together the american plains with the Swedish melancholy.
The other band is similar to the first but still clearly different. For the dress the songs in fancy arrangements, gleaming stylish productions, pounding drums and a general publiktillvänd image. It is in the guise of this band of sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg have become international pop stars.

And of course, it is the latter band that may play at the Globe for a jättepublik. Arenas require arenamusik, pumping pop goes good, but not soulful whispers and subtle mystery. It is not surprising, but it is a pity. First Aid Kits live band includes both a drummer and a percussionist – together rolls they started a bombastic rytmfabrik in almost every song. It is free and eternal in the sisters Söderberg’s vocal melodies are caught in a järnbur of the all other than timeless the drums (which sounds like Arcade Fire produced by Lasse Halapi), the music is reduced to a pleasant product.

Pyrotechnic sparks spraying from above in the ”Stay gold”, and many guest artists pops up: Amanda Jenssen, Sarah Klang (which is also great as a dressing), Silvana Imam, and Little Jinder. First Aid Kit looks back to his beginnings singing covers of Fleet Foxes ”Tiger Mountain peasant song” (the song that made the duo into a Youtube sensation) and Fever Rays ”When I grow up” (it was Karin Dreijer who gave out the band’s first ep). And ‘allsången’ drawn up in the ”Home of her dress” and ”Emmylou” is unusually tastefully completed.
But what does it matter, when it välpaketerade poprockbandet First Aid Kit is a waste of talent?
and Then watching the original First Aid Kit, little moments where the backing band tiger, and immediately the music becomes much more powerful. When the front of the ”Ghost town” from the album ”The big black and the blue” with just vocals and acoustic guitar, it is so strong that time stands still. So they would be able to let all the time.
