The past 12 years, Annette Heick turned his eyes up to the 23. december with butterflies in my stomach.
the Day before christmas eve is very special for the singer, her husband, tv chef Jesper Vollmer, their two children aged 14 and 9 years and for the sangerindens parents, Keld and Hilda Heick.
Annette Heick organizes every year a juletur for the whole family, and it is secret until the day itself.
It is a tradition, Jesper Vollmer appreciate.
– We always starts the day with to go into The Royal Stables at Christiansborg palace to my old colleagues, and so we will be driving around in horse-drawn carriage, says Jesper Vollmer, who for many years was the chef for the royal family.
– When we are finished with karetturen, we eat cake and buns, and then take Annette over. She then laid a plan for the day, and it always has a theme, he says.

While juleturen always begins in the same way, it is far different to what the rest of the day can offer.
– It is always something with a historical theme, that can make us wiser. And so it must be something we haven’t seen before, or not have expected to see, ” explains Annette Heick.
– Last year the theme was ’the Workers ‘Copenhagen’, so there we were at the workers ‘ museum and around the old fattigmandskvarterer on Vesterbro.
– the Year before it was ’the House of the Copenhagen’, so that we began at the Carlsberg and so some of the homes out there. There has also been a theme, called ‘On top of the Copenhagen’, where we went around in all the towers, and everything was going up, says Annette Heick.
– We have also had ‘Since grandpa was a kid’, where we were around the places where my father lived as a child, and then we were at the Copenhagen city Museum which had an exhibition on pigtrådsmusik, she says.
For Annette Heick it’s very special to be allowed to have an annual day with the family, where only she knows what is going to happen.
– It is a highlight for me, and it has been in 12 years. The planning may well start a whole year before. In any case, it is often there, the idea for what we need, is there. And I love to go and plan it, she says.
however, It is not only her that seems to juleturen is a peak in the middle of the bustle. It is a day, the whole family is looking forward to, says Jesper Vollmer.
– It is always rather special, because Annette usually be arranged for one or another, which you usually can not get to. For example, we have also been on the national archives and see Hitler’s signature.
– We get nothing to know about, what we must, before the day arrives. But it is always so nice, and so it becomes combined with a nice place to eat for lunch. It is often late in the day, before we drive home, and as is the tradition, we get rice pudding for dinner, and just lies on her back on the couch, he says.
