Showbizz Fashion chain Forever 21 made a bad marketingkeuze, by a blond white male model to pose in their ‘Black Panther Wakanda Forever’kersttrui. According to many, is it inappropriate for a white, blonde man to advertise for a movie that consists solely of black superheroes. The company has the reactions attracted and excuses made.
“Forever 21 take feedback from customers very seriously. We celebrate all the super heroes with many different models and ethnic backgrounds. Sorry if the photo is in any way wrong across to them,” said a spokesman for the fashion label.
A follower, placed a screenshot of the now deleted photo online and wrote there: “Have you really a settler in a Wakanda Forever sweater dropped?” Another wondered why not chosen for the black male model, that is also on the site of Forever 21 to see. “Oh, no, he wears only the clothing that is on sale.”
‘Black Panther’ was last year to see in the cinema and was a monstersucces. Actors in the film were given were, among others, Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Forest Whitaker and Angela Bassett.
