the Monkey who became known as Mr Nilsson, both crapped the bed and peed on his partner, but there was no way around it – the two had to work closely together. Exceptionally close:
– He would constantly run away, so they were forced to tie him tightly to me. He had a harness around the belly, you could not see, because he had clothes on. The belt went down my back and around my stomach. Otherwise, he was stuck, explains Inger Nilsson and tells, therefore, cut down on the scenes with the not very cooperative monkey.
She was also not tremendously fond of the horse, Lilla Gubben, as she was afraid in the beginning, but this changed fortunately:
– He was easier to handle, and it was fun to be together with him. I learned to ride, while we recorded the tv-series ended up as a really hestepige with your own horse.
Inger Nilsson was just eight years old, when she 51 years ago for the first time played the role of Pippi.
