It’s official. Real Madrid midfielder Aurélien Tchouameni will miss the Champions League final due to a foot injury and could be doubtful for the Euros, Carlo Ancelotti said this Friday. This is also why Didier Deschamps recalled N’Golo Kanté.

“He is doing individual work but he is not ready for the (Champions League) final. We will see if he is ready for the Euro. I believe he will be fit for and he can be ready,” Ancelotti told reporters ahead of Saturday’s LaLiga finale against Real Betis.

The 24-year-old, who has made 38 appearances in all competitions for Real this season, has not played since suffering a stress fracture in his foot during the Champions League semi-final win against Bayern Munich earlier this month. Real face Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final at Wembley on June 1.
