Winner of this 20th stage, Tadej Pogacar offered himself a second success this season on the Grande Boucle, but still finished more than seven minutes behind his rival.
Behind the two leaders, the Yates brothers have replaced themselves. Adam finishes third and UAE places two riders on the podium. Victim of a fall, Sepp Kuss tumbled in the general classification allowing a few riders to grab a place. David Gaudu finished ninth, just ahead of his compatriot Guillaume Martin. Thibaut Pinot is eleventh.
