During this last mountain stage of the Tour de France 2023, Valentin Madouas once again stood out. The reigning Franc champion again managed to take the right breakaway to find himself at the front.
However, the Groupama-FDJ rider had a few mishaps since he found himself on the ground after being simply pushed by a spectator. Wearing a large Belgian flag, this man encroached largely on the roadway before knocking down the French champion with the end of his arm. He doesn’t even seem to have reacted when Valentin Madouas reprimanded him.
