Ferrari collectors will meet soon to acquire one of the Italian brand’s most iconic cars. A somewhat special F40 is going to be auctioned since it belonged to Alain Prost who took possession of it in 1990, during his first season in the transalpine team.
The chassis, engine and gearbox are original, certified by Sotheby’s. The value of this jewel of motorsport, which has had several owners after the quadruple world champion, has been estimated at between 2.5 and 3 million euros.
