Xavi (FC Barcelona coach, hung 0-0 at Getafe on Sunday during the 29th day of La Liga, in a post-match press conference): “We are not at the best moment of our season. In the game, in the results, in the realism… We tried everything, but we were clumsy, uncomfortable the whole match. It remains a valuable point, in a very difficult stadium. Getafe plays big (with maintenance, editor’s note), and when they hide behind, they organize themselves very well, and it’s very difficult. The lawn was high, the ground was dry, it’s true that the ball was not rolling as usual, and that hurt us, yes. But hey, the state of the lawn is no excuse. We had to be pragmatic, and we were. We were also very solid in defence, that’s a positive point. We had three or four very clear chances to score, but hey, we’re not in a good moment. It can happen, in a season. Admittedly, we haven’t scored in three matches, but we also haven’t conceded a goal in the last two. Robert (Lewandowski), for example, had extraordinary stats in the first leg, and I think his numbers are still good in the second leg, even if he scores a little less… But the goals will come, for Robert as for the team.
