EUR65.66. This is the average amount each Spaniard will spend to purchase tenths of the Extraordinary Draw of Christmas Lottery 2020, which will be held December 22. This is a lower figure than last year’s 2.82 euros per inhabitant, which was according to the appropriation figures per inhabitant of State Lotteries and State Gambling Society.

Castilla y Leon will be the Autonomous Community spending the most on 2020 Christmas Lottery. It has 102.07 euro per resident. Asturias follows with 95.17 euro. La Rioja, with 92.74 euro, completes the podium.

It is evident, however, that the Autonomous Community that spends the least are the ones that aren’t on the peninsula. Accordingly, Melilla’s average annual spending on the 2020 Christmas Lottery is 15.03 euros per person, while Ceuta’s average spend is 16.53 euros. The two other Communities that spend less than the Autonomous Cities are the islands. However, they have twice the spending power of the two Autonomous Cities. The 2020 Christmas Lottery cost per person in the Balearic Islands is 36.74 euros. It costs 39.52 in the Canary Islands.
