La Zubia was able to travel this weekend to the past because of the town’s XIV Biker Concentration, a special event organized by Raiders club and the City Council’s Department of Festivities. This biker and vintage car event, which is one of the most important in the region, has attracted nearly 300 motorcyclists representing different parts of Spain. The biker concentration was not the only event. There were also the ‘VIII Meeting of Andalusian Trikes and the V of Classic Cars and Motorcycles’.

Some pieces nearly a century old participated in the ‘XIV Biker Concentration’ of La Zubia. This, according to Natalia Arregui (Councilor for Festivities from Zubia), “demonstrates the tremendous interest that exists throughout the province for old cars and motorcycles.”

Nearly a thousand people have passed through La Zubia’s municipal tent, where activities were held. All the hotels in the municipality have been sold, as well as rural houses, for the event.

The fairgrounds at La Zubia hosted a festival with concerts, camping, and competitions throughout the weekend. The city was also visited by tourists.

Puri Lopez, La Zubia’s mayor, thanked the Raiders club and Civil Protection of La Zubia for their “impeccable work and great effort”, and said that they had created an “unbeatable atmosphere in our city” this weekend.
