La Zubia’s women will remember Friday, July 1, the victims of gender violence. The event is organized by the Municipal Center for Equality (‘Las 13 Roses’). This event will be held at 9:30 pm in the Garden of the Carmen Jimenez Center. It will provide a final touch to the activities on equality in the metro area that were held during this course.

The performance of Canterureando’s ‘Little Songs, Great Women’ will be featured at the ‘Meetings in the Garden’ at La Zubia. Fresh lemonade will be shared at the end.

This year marks the fourth consecutive year La Zubia has celebrated this event. It will bring together all who work for equality in Zubia, including users of the center, entities and members of the City Council’s governance team, as well as professionals within the scope.

Puri Lopez, the mayor of La Zubia and Rebeca Sanchez, the Councilor for Equality will preside over the meeting. A summary video will be shown of the assistance and activities carried out by the technical staff at the Center for Equality. Rebeca Sanchez highlights de la Zubia as “a first-class group that channels all of the activities that are carried out in this region from the La Zubia City Council”.
