Durbuy is soon to be a little more Marc Coucke country. Together with his business partner Bart Maerten invests in the entrepreneur 30 million in the construction of a four-star hotel in the famous tourist village in the province of Luxembourg. And there are images of how that is going to look.
Coucke in the village already has a restaurant, a hotel, a campsite and an adventure. This fall, he acquired, together with Maerten also two golf clubs in the near Durbuy Golf de Durbuy in Barvaux and Five Nations in Mr.. The latter also includes a hotel with 35 rooms.

at the Beginning of last year, bought the two hotel-restaurant Le Sanglier des Ardennes. The entrance and the kitchen were all updated and in the meantime, stir chef Wout Bru in the pots. From next month it will be in front of Le Sanglier is a brand new hotel being built. the
“We will start the construction in January and want to in november next year, all behind the back, to be ready for the following season in the winter,” said Bart Maerten in an interview with the French newspaper L’Echo.
The buildings will be through an underground tunnel connected to each other. Coucke and Maerten want a total of one hundred rooms on the site, three restaurants, six meeting rooms and a completely renovated spa and wellness centre. There are also a large courtyard and spectacular terrace. There should also be a pool built with a beautiful view over the surrounding landscape.
