Investigation of the possible connections between the Donald Trumps kampagnestab and Russia is coming to an end.

It says acting attorney general Matthew Whitaker on Monday, according to Reuters.

– I have been fully informed about the study, and I look forward to Mueller delivers the final report, he says at a news conference.

– Right now I think that the investigation is close to being finished, and I hope that we can get the report from Mueller as soon as possible, he adds.

The former FBI chief Robert Mueller has been put in charge of the investigation.

It must among other things clarify, whether the members of the Donald Trumps kampagnestab cooperated with the Russian agents towards presidential elections in 2016.

Mueller has so far kept the cards close to the body. He has not even signed out, when he expects the investigation will be over.

Matthew Whitaker has been criticized for not having declared itself incompetent in the investigation.

It, not least because he has previously been highly critical of the study.

so far 34 people have been indicted in connection with the müller’s scrutiny. Among them is Donald Trumps former national security advisor, his former personal lawyer, the president of his campaign and two former employees.
