Three of the Tour de France stages in Denmark in 2021.
It is now clear, after it today emerged that the Tour de France is coming to Denmark in 2021.
The three stages must be run 2., 3. and 4. July.
The first stage is a time trial in Copenhagen. Then run for about 190 kilometres from Roskilde to Nyborg, which means that the Tour field passes the great belt Bridge. The third stage is from Vejle, denmark to Sonderborg.
Tour director Christian Prudhomme called it ‘obvious’ that the Tour was going to have to get past the cykelglade Denmark.

There is expected around 1 million spectators around the Danish country roads in the month of July
