“Stop in the routine check – got five years in prison”
“A man was stopped for a police routine check-ups in Malmö has been sentenced to five years in prison for aggravated vapenbrott, a serious drugs offence and unlawful driving, Sydsvenskan writes.”
“The 34-year-old man drove his dad’s car, but lacked a driver’s license when police stopped him in november of last year. The officers felt a sweetish smell, and found cannabis, amphetamines, and tablets in the car. During a search of the man’s apartment found two kilos of amphetamine and a revolver, two semi-automatic pistols, magazines and ammunition.”
“– this is a quick investigation and a five-year judgment that we are right so happy with. It is a strong signal that it is important to give priority to these cases, ” says Erik Jansåker, chief of police for the south of Malmö, told the newspaper.”
