And of course there are nerves at the two 27-year-old male dancers who are excited.
– of course It is just good nerves and sheer anticipation, says the 27-year-old Quinton Peron to the New York Post on Thursday afternoon, before he heads to a rehearsal to warm up for the big day.
Quinton Peron and Napoleon Jinnies know, incidentally, each other from their time at the ‘college’. They are both trained in classical dance, but skips out on the world’s largest ‘scene’ in the ultimate popular expression of the dance, namely, as the cheerleaders at the Super Bowl.

I almost can not breathe, wrote Napoleon on twitter.
And the Peron replied back on twitter:
– Hello Napoleon. Do you think that Atlanta is ready for us? We’re going to the Super Bowl!
But it has not been going easy for the two men to jump out as cheerleaders in the most male-dominated sport at all in the UNITED states. Both Peron and Napoleon have had to develop ‘hard skin’ on the body to resist various hateful verbal attacks to which they have been subjected to in connection with the matches, where they have been the cheerleaders for the Los Angeles Rams.

During their debut as cheerleaders the 18. august, when the Los Angeles Rams played against the Oakland Raiders, they were met by hate-filled cry from the drunken fans of the Oakland Raiders. It tells Suzanne Sharer, who firmly follows the Los Angeles Rams battles, to the media Fast Company:
There was a toxic atmosphere at the Los Angeles Rams stadium. Drunken fans from the Oakland Raiders shouted hateful expression against the male dancers. It was shocking. The worst profanity. And ugly slurs. My husband wanted to break into. But I asked him not to start a brawl, tell Suzanne Sharer, who, however, returned to the next battle with the Los Angeles Rams, where she managed to get a selfie with Peron.

the Director of the cheerleading group with the Los Angeles Rams, Keely Fimbres, tells, in fact, that it has been quite carefree to add two male members to the group. He says, however, that it is ended with dancing to the songs as f.ex. ‘Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend’.
the Choreographer John Peters says that the two men have had their own small dressing room. And moreover, it is also decided, to Quinton and Napoleon not to dance with the otherwise traditional pom poms. It is only the girls who will be dancing with pom poms.
