A 73-year-old man, suspected to be a notorious serial killer facing the death penalty in the UNITED states.

the Prosecution in California will go after the death penalty if Joseph James DeAngelo is found guilty in a series of killings and rapes committed in the 70’s and 80’s.

The state prosecutors from the four politidistrikter in the state during a hearing in the case against the 73-year-old on the night of Thursday local time.

Joseph James DeAngelo is suspected of being the notorious serial killer, who goes by the name ‘Golden State Killer’.

the Announcement from the prosecutors comes just a month after California’s governor, Gavin Newsom, introduced a temporary ban on the death penalty in the state.

There is thus a prohibition against the execution of the 737 inmates at the UNITED states’largest dødsgang, which is found in California.

the Ban is only in force so long as Newsom is the governor. And it does not prevent the prosecution in going after a judgment on the death penalty.

DeAngelo is suspected of at least 13 murders and more than 50 rapes committed in California.

for decades, the cases have been unsolved, but last year was the suspect man arrested after a dna test identified him as the infamous serial killer.

a Prosecutor in Orange County Todd Spitzer reports that the public prosecutor together with the family members of several of the victims denounces the ban on the death penalty.

He says that the families will share their stories about the loss of their loved one and on how the governor’s ban has destroyed their efforts to achieve justice’.

There is not been a death penalty in California since 2006.
