STOCKHOLM (Ekstra Bladet): What popmusicals is concerned, it becomes not larger than ‘Mamma Mia!’.
the musical production that combines ABBA’s immortal megahits with a forviklings and history about love and friendship, is one of the world’s most successful.
worldwide it has been seen by more than 65 million and has grossed a staggering two billion dollars.
the Last time, the musical could be seen in Denmark – back in 2010 – was sold nearly 200,000 tickets.
The Danish hovedrolleindehaver, Anette Heick, take it, however, quite quiet, en Ekstra Bladet meet her at the ABBA museum in Stockholm.
– It is actually a little bit strange, but I have not yet got the nerves. I am myself just to hold a big party together with the audience. I imagine it will be like being shot out of a cannon, says Anette Heick to Ekstra Bladet.

Before the cast – where Heick has scored the lead role as the mother Donna – came in place, was more than 450 professional Danish actors and singers to audition.
Yet it was Anette Heick, it ended up drawing the longest straw and scored the role as the mother Donna – the same role, as Meryl Streep immortalised in the popular ‘Mamma Mia!’-movies.
– I am well aware that many associate my role with Meryl Streep from the film, and it is a little game. But this is fortunately something else – among other things, with a focus on supplying singing performances, sitting right in the cupboard, and I’ve been ready my whole life, says Anette Heick, there has been a big ABBA-fan since she was a little girl.
The second important role as the giftemodne daughter Sofia has gone to the only 24-annual Matilde Zeuner Nielsen, who only this summer finished on Musicalakademiet in Fredericia.
– It is very overwhelming, and I’m just super-happy to have scored the role as Sofie. It is the ‘Mamma Mia!’. Everyone would like to make ‘Mamma Mia!’ We are the perfect match. I’m not quite old enough to be a real ABBA fan, but I have, nevertheless, greatly got it in with the breast milk. The songs, the dances and the energy is a perfect fit for me, ” says Matilde Zeuner Nielsen

the French original backer, Björn Ulvaeus from ABBA, is surprised French long-term preservation.
I’m sitting here today, 20 years after the premiere of ‘Mamma Mia!’ and talking about an upcoming Danish premiere is a bit of a miracle. It began as a small experiment, and I had not in my wildest imagination thought that it would be so great, ” says Björn Ulvaeus for the Extra Blade when we meet him at the ABBA museum in central Stockholm.
