Administrative processes can cause delays in small and medium-sized companies. This can lead to wasted time and costly external services. Sevillian software Zinkee is a finalist in Alhambra Venture 2022. It’s a platform that digitizes and unifies all of this work, adapting it to each company and visualizing each phase’s performance in one click.
In 2016, the idea was born out of the passion of Gonzalo Rome, the CEO, to optimize the processes and manage them. He realized that companies were not using the right management tools or processes, which made tasks seem endless, was a serious problem for optimization.
He had an idea. “What if I created a “no-code” software that combined the average 20 tabs a worker has in their web browser with a custom solution that doesn’t cause chaos for the company?” In 2020, they created a tool that can adapt to every industry with the help programmers.
It integrates the main work areas of SME’s and allows for the creation of business apps without having to know programming or rely on consultants. It is also difficult, expensive, and time-consuming to digitize an SME. There are many processes that need optimization.
Zinkee claims that applications can be applied to any sector or department. They prioritize specific use cases when acquiring new customers to create a clear sales story with them. They also benefit from the collaboration of multiple users.
They started their careers in construction, but they now work in architecture and consulting. They have had success stories in many different industries, including software development, machinery retail, and tourism. They have clients of all sizes, from companies with 4 to 5 employees to larger corporations with more than 400 employees.
The founder believes that people are the most valuable asset of a startup. Its methodology is built on people and places the client at its center. The “no code” approach also allows workers to create tools that can be used to solve their everyday problems.
The Sevillian company recently received a private investment round in excess of EUR800,000. Three Venture Capital participated. They have built a product that is highly recommended by customers in less than two years. They now have more than 1,000 paying customers and they are growing at 10% per month. They are so confident that they will triple their turnover by 2021.
They recognize that they have many challenges to overcome, but they also know that digitization of SMEs is a rapidly expanding market, and that “no code” is an area where they want to play an important role.
Zinkee’s openness allows them to be compared with other options on the market, which offer flexibility, money and time savings, as well as process unification. They are excited about Alhambra Venture participation, which will highlight the Academy, connect with the startup ecosystem, and impact on the media. They also value the creation of a network that facilitates sales, hiring, and investment.
