The world is at the end. The climate warming has made the earth uninhabitable. 2039 also of Zurich lies in rubble and ashes. The Limmat river and the lake are poisoned, the Prime Tower is destroyed, the station is under water, and two Gangs rule the town. There is no more hope. Or is it?
“Kids Of No Nation” is produced in collaboration with the Swiss theatre and film Director Dominik Locher (“Goliath”, “Blue My Mind”). His first children’s and young people’s play and has written a Punch of a dedicated and talented Zurich schoolgirl on the body. The 17-year-old Nellie Hächler plays Vaju, the succeeds together with Mikka (Alireza Bayram), to escape from the post-apocalyptic Zurich. Because in the Engadine, it is said, it should be able to give a place where children and young people in peace with each other and nature. Back in 2019, Vaju and Mikka reports of her adventures from the future.
