FC Barcelona and PSG are far from being on good terms and things are not about to get better. After the Neymar or Messi files, the Blaugranas do not carry the capital club in their hearts. With the future formalization of Ousmane Dembélé, the Qataris have played yet another bad trick on Barça, which has done everything to retain the French winger at the club since 2017. According to the Catalan press, Paris would have tried to negotiate directly with FC Barcelona but in vain, which caused the Parisian leaders to turn to the release clause.
This strategy does not please the Catalans, as Sport indicates, Barça intends to “wage war” against Paris Saint-Germain if they manage to sign Ousmane Dembélé. A theory relayed and confirmed by Mundo Deportivo, which indicates that the Blaugranas will complain in particular to UEFA. The training led by Joan Laporta intends to ask the institution which governs European football to take a closer look at PSG’s expenses and to check whether or not the rules of financial fair play are respected. A new gesture which testifies to the impotence of FC Barcelona in this file, condemned to lose yet another financial battle against PSG.
