Esteban Ocon (FRA / Alpine), 9th in the Miami Grand Prix won by Max Verstappen summed up: “It’s good to be back in the points with both cars (Gasly, 8th) after a decent race for the crew. We opted for the more aggressive strategy of going far on the hard tires in our first stint and it didn’t quite pay off. We had some good battles with Ferrari and Mercedes, punctuated by some good overtaking. Our pace was solid, which is encouraging for the future. We are happy with our work today, because I don’t think we could have done much more. Of course, there are things that we have to review and improve, but the season is still long and I look forward to the first triplet of races in Europe where we will have to chain three positive results.
