While a new page is being written for Lucas Hernandez, another is turning. That of his stint at Bayern Munich which lasted four seasons, after his transfer to PSG formalized last weekend. The native of Marseille wanted to post a message of thanks (on his social networks) after his departure, something that did not move many people around the club. Lothar Matthaüs and Mehmet Scholl let loose with the neo Parisian.

“I don’t believe a word of what you say, hello” replied dryly Mehmet Scholl, former glory of the Bavarian club between 1992 and 2007. Arrived from Atlético Madrid for 80 million euros, Hernandez left a mixed mark in Bavaria. Despite a Champions League (2020) and four Bundesliga, the left-hander very often experienced the club’s infirmary, he who went through many injuries.

Another former legendary Munich player spoke about the departure and farewell of Theo’s brother, Lothar Matthaüs. “If we take stock, the value for money is not satisfactory” launched the 1990 world champion with the Mannschaft. Lucas Hernandez will therefore not have left an indelible mark on Bayern Munich, if not a negative one.
