Belgian central defender Clermont Maximiliano Caufriez will be out for two months with an ankle injury, the Ligue 1 club Clermont announced on Thursday.
The player was injured on Wednesday during the friendly match played by Clermont against Montpellier (1-1).
Caufriez, loaned last season to the Clermont club by Spartak Moscow, was definitively transferred on July 5 for the sum of 3.5 million euros and he signed a three-year contract, until 2026.
