Victim of heart symptoms at the end of last season, Noah Fadiga (23), under contract with Brest until 2026, was banned from practicing high-level football by the French Federation. The player affirms that he feels well and that additional examinations prove that he does not suffer from tachycardia. Illness from which his father is affected.
The player sent a press release to the team, in which he explains that he wants to continue his career: “After tests carried out at the end of last season within my club Stade Brestois 29, it was revealed that an irregularity was produced in my heartbeat. I then underwent in-depth examinations by professor cardiologist Pedro Brugada. Based on these tests, Prof. Brugada allowed me to continue my career without any risk.
Unfortunately, the medical commission of the French Football Federation has a policy of “Zero tolerance” and has revoked my French football license. I am therefore a free player. The medical opinion of an authority such as Pr. Brugada reinforces my conviction that I will be able to pursue my great passion, my football career. Intensively prepared for the new season with the team of Lieven Maesschalck (famous Belgian physiotherapist), I feel in great shape and very motivated. See you soon on the field.”
