Arsenal have registered German striker Kai Havertz from Chelsea, the Premier League club announced on Wednesday. The transfer fee has not been disclosed but British media have reported that Arsenal will pay 65 million pounds (75 million euros) to Chelsea, with an additional 5 million pounds. “It is very exciting for me to join this extraordinary club and to be part of the Arsenal family. This club has a great history and I hope we can achieve a lot,” the 24-year-old told the club’s website.
The Gunners do not want to stop there. Their offer of more than 115 million euros would have been accepted by West Ham for the transfer of Declan Rice (24), according to several sources. The owner of the Hammers and the English selection (43 caps) wants to take a step forward in his career.
