This Thursday at Insep (Vincennes), the national police presented – in the presence of the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin – its team of high-level athletes and para-athletes, some of whom could participate in the next Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris 2024. This team has 66 members, including around thirty new recruits. This “national police” team is a first achievement of Mission Sport, created in June 2022 with the aim of strengthening the place of sport within the police function. Among the 66 high-level sportsmen and women are therefore police officers, assistant police officers and contractual operational reservists.
