Almeria’s most internationally recognized bailaora (Young Andalusia award from the Andalusian Youth Institute to the dissemination of culture overseas 2011) continues to wear flamenco as her national flag. She was supported by the General Directorate of Cultural Innovation and Museums of Junta de Andalucia’s Ministry of Culture and Historical Heritage. She has been on a promotional tour that took her to Ethiopia, Cameroon and Egypt, as well as Sweden, Denmark and Sweden. This weekend, she will continue through Berlin and Hamburg in Germany.

Particularly, the artist took part in the Flamenco Encounter on Saturday, June 25.

Garruchera bailaora Anabel Veloso, and Gabriel Perez, another Almeria guitarist, participated in various activities during this grand event that aimed to bring flamenco closer for the German public. The Flamenco Hamburg entity sponsored the activity and it took place in Motte, a cultural space located on the German coast.

Flamenco Global Market will promote its international agenda to other countries. It has been presented at eight countries and embassies around the world.
