Farmamundi, a non-governmental organization, has opened registration for the CreActivo Meeting, which will be held at Ciudad Deportiva de Armilla in Granada during the week from July 8-14. The camp is about sexual rights and gender equality in the health field, and it targets young people aged 18 to 30 from the province. Participants will be provided with accommodation and all maintenance costs. The event includes a variety of activities, including reflection, group discussion, and free time. There will also be access to the pool, night parties, and other recreational activities.

The meeting is targeted at Granada youth members of a network, group or association, as well those who are interested in gender identities and new masculinities and human rights. It aims to address these issues through collective learning as well as a series practical workshops.

They will include a workshop about educational games and gaming, which will be led by Azahara G.Peralta, the educator and sociologist. There will also be a theater-forum space for youth to discuss current issues. This workshop will be facilitated by La Hoja Blanca, the social and community theater company. Finally, the Verbena Collective of design, visual creativity, will host a micro-narrative workshop about social networks and creating socially sensitive content using memes, gif imagery, storytelling, and other. Each group will create a piece of social mobilization content as a result.

The CreActivo Meeting was co-organized in collaboration with the Granada Provincial Council and the Territorial Delegation of Education, Sports, Equality and Social Policies in Granada. It is part of the EducAccion project to promote global equity and health of NGO Farmamundi. It is planned that the camp’s participants will be reunited to continue the mediation process, using the pieces created during the camp. A final open call will allow young people from the province to submit their works on sexual rights and gender equality.
